The muses’ decision to sing or not to sing is never based on the elevation of your moral purpose—they will sing or not regardless.

Benevolent Yearning

Understanding requires quiet,
within.
Closed eyes
and movement
Within and Between us.

Can this movement sustain us,
While the world falls apart?

Strangers passing
glances meet.
we don't speak.
we don't even try.

With bandstands in the mind,
We have put an end to the quiet,
an end to our understanding.

Souls lovesick for it all.
Close your eyes
and travel
within.
to the quiet
in the back
of my mind.

untouchable.
infinite
profound
peace.

  2. Do not always trust to find peace in quiet. The quiet is a Siren which guides us towards dissolution, self-doubt. Peace is in sound, in contact. Profundity can also be found here. Or it finds you, en route to your destination as the car ahead of you makes every turn you intend to make for miles; impossibly following you. Are there coincidences? You have always been able to find the beauty, the humor, the love. Now is not your time to shrink back. The world is waiting for you.
